Erica Mayland, MD, is board-certified in otolaryngology and fellowship-trained. She specializes in treating all cancers of the head and neck and is trained to perform microvascular reconstruction following surgical treatment of the tumor. About Me

I am a native Floridian who has had the opportunity to live in Louisiana and New York throughout training. I met my husband here in Jacksonville and I am excited to have returned to practice medicine in the state of Florida.

As a surgical oncologist, patients often enter our office with a multitude of fears and anxieties surrounding their diagnosis. My goal is to treat each patient with the same compassion and dedication as if they were my own family member. I feel strongly that my job is to inform patients about their treatment options so they can play an active role in the decision-making process. As patients navigate through treatment, surveillance, and survivorship it is my privilege to walk beside them on their journey.
