Jennifer Miatech, MD

Jennifer Miatech, MD, is a board-certified hematologist oncologist with clinical expertise in hematologic malignancies, bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. She completed her hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville before pursuing advanced training in bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Through her specialized training, Dr. Miatech has developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex hematologic cancers and is committed to providing patients with compassionate, evidence-based care.

About Me

I came to Jacksonville several years ago to complete my hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Florida. I subsequently completed advanced training in bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Outside of medicine, my husband and I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors and cheering on our favorite football teams.

I believe in providing compassionate, patient-centered care that recognizes each person as an individual. I value collaboration with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to develop treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and values. With the rapid advances in hematology and oncology, we have more opportunities than ever to offer effective treatments, achieve long-term remission and improve the quality of life for our patients.
