Ian Pinto, MD, MPH, FACP

Dr. Pinto is a medical oncologist (cancer specialist) and a hematologist (blood specialist). He successfully uses targeted chemotherapies and immunotherapy to treat cancers like breast, lung, prostate and colon cancers. He focuses on the genetic mutations and resistance pathways of cancers to chemotherapy to specifically treat them. He also treats leukemias, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Dr. Pinto also specializes in benign blood disorders like low blood counts, anemias and thalassemias. He has trained and worked at the top centers of the world such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York University, Columbia University and State University of New York. His work has been published in international and national scientific journals. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology and has been invited to present his work and clinical experience across the world.
