About Me

I grew up in Alabama and went to undergrad at the University of Alabama. Roll Tide! I moved to Jacksonville in 2013 with my husband and our two King Charles Terriers. I enjoy cooking and almost became a professional dancer before choosing medicine.

I went into medicine to work with women. I have a family history of cancer and have interacted with their doctors – some good and some not as good. I wanted to be one of the good ones and make my primary focus the patient’s quality of life during and after the treatment of her disease.
