About Me

I am a Midwest native and a new transplant to the Northeast Florida area. My family and I enjoy our time outdoors, hiking the beautiful area scenery. In my spare time, I love to play the guitar, run around the tennis court and indoor rock climb.

Being an oncologic surgeon is both humbling and incredibly rewarding. I want to connect with my patients and their families as we navigate their care journey together, often during a very difficult time in their lives. I want them to feel confident that their team has clinical expertise and access to the latest evidence-based care and clinical trials. On a personal note, seeing patients recover after their cancer care is extraordinarily gratifying.
