Dr. Smith is a board-certified otolaryngologist with advanced training in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction. He specializes in the surgical treatment of head and neck cancers as well as reconstructive surgery to restore form and function after cancer surgery. About Me

I am a native Texan and lived in North Carolina for my post-graduate medical training. My wife is a native of Central Florida and we are excited to put down roots in Jacksonville. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, cooking and golfing.

Patients who are diagnosed with head and neck cancer often experience significant fear and anxiety surrounding their diagnosis. My job is to listen to the patient and their family and provide evidence-based, compassionate care that takes the individual's goals and values into account.
