About Me
I grew up in the Midwest living in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. I went to Wake Forest University for my undergraduate education where I tried every imaginable subject but found that I excelled in the sciences leading to a career in medicine. I arrived in Jacksonville in 2003 and married in 2004. I spend every available minute with my family enjoying all the pleasures of raising two kids. My wife and I enjoy traveling around the world and spending time with our family and friends.
My philosophy of care is simple – the patient has the right to have all the information and needs to understand everything about their disease process. It is my job to educate you about the disease and how we can take care of it. I tell my patients exactly what I discover, the options, and together we come up with a plan of action. My goal is to educate and take care of my patients to the best of my ability. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to help someone improve their health and quality of life.
