Mary Kindred, APRN, first became interested in healthcare when she took a job in college as a medical scribe in the emergency department. She was also highly influenced by her grandmother who was a registered nurse for over 40 years. She became a registered nurse working in the ICU for 6 years and eventually went back to school to become a nurse practitioner. She has also been involved in research at the Mayo Clinic regarding palliative care. Her areas of expertise include:

I am a seventh-generation Floridian and have enjoyed living in Jacksonville for 8 years after graduating from nursing school. I enjoy playing beach volleyball and singing at gigs in my free time.
