Mohamed Abdul Qader, MD
Cardiologist
Mohamed Abdul Qader, MD, is a fellowship-trained cardiologist who treats patients ages 18 and up. He believes exceptional cardiovascular care begins with listening, open communication and patient advocacy. He understands that many patients arrive with anxiety and uncertainty about their heart health, and he approaches every visit with empathy and compassion. Inspired by his own family's experiences with heart disease, he strives to make patients feel informed, supported and confident in their care by taking the time to answer questions, explain diagnoses and treatment options, and remain accessible for ongoing guidance. Drawing on his expertise in both internal medicine and cardiology, he provides comprehensive care that considers each patient's overall health while addressing the complex relationship between the heart and the rest of the body.

About Me
I have been living in Florida since 2019 and truly enjoy the coastal lifestyle. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially at the beach and enjoying beach activities together. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and exploring new cuisines.
My philosophy of care is centered on listening, communication and advocacy. I understand that when patients come to see a cardiologist, they may be anxious, worried and going through a difficult time in their lives. I have been through this with family members who have struggled with heart disease, and I keep that in mind during every patient encounter. I try to take the time to explain things clearly, walk patients through the process and help them get the treatment they need. I believe my role as a physician includes being accessible and available when patients need guidance, including when they have questions or follow-up concerns. With my strong background in both internal medicine and cardiology, I aim to provide comprehensive care that considers each patient’s overall health and how the heart interacts with the rest of the body.
I am passionate about improving access to preventive heart care and education in the community. As I begin this next chapter in Jacksonville, I look forward to becoming more involved in community outreach, health education and screening efforts, especially for people who may have limited access to regular medical care.
