About Me

Prior to relocating to Jacksonville, I practiced in Philadelphia and Danbury, Conn. I’ve authored numerous research publications on Takotsubo Syndrome and I’m involved in several national and international studies on the topic. I’m fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

I’m a firm believer in close and solid patient-physician relationships. I practice with compassion and I promote honest and open conversations with my patients, so we can achieve together the greatest improvement in their health.

Outside the hospital, I enjoy traveling around the world, playing soccer and snorkeling.
