Dr. Muhammad Hussain is trained in internal medicine, obesity medicine and infectious disease. He completed medical school at Florida State University, residency at Rutgers University and fellowship in infectious disease at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Hussain has extensive experience in outpatient, long-term care, and hospital settings and he is skilled in treating a wide range of infectious diseases, including those in immunocompromised patients. About Me

I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and completed my education here from elementary school through college as a proud University of North Florida (UNF) alum. After spending several years in the Northeast for medical training and clinical practice, I’m grateful to return home to care for the community I grew up in.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling—both locally and internationally—with my wife and children, volunteering with underserved populations, and exploring new restaurants around town.
