Matthew Griffith, MD, is a board-certified infectious disease physician and internist who comes to Baptist Health after a 22-year career in the Army. He has a broad range of experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinical care and also spent many years teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and other trainees. His areas of expertise include:

My wife and I are originally from the southeast US but are new to Florida. We are excited to join this vibrant community and experience all that it has to offer.

My philosophy of care is communication and empathy. I enjoy helping people understand, navigate, and get through an often difficult portion of their lives in a compassionate and understanding manner.
