Manuel Portalatin, MD, worked as a staff flight surgeon in the United States Air Force and the chief of family practice at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina before joining the Baptist Primary Care team in 1995. His areas of expertise include:

About Me
I've lived in Puerto Rico, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina and Missouri, and have called Jacksonville home since 1995. I chose family practice because I want to improve the quality of care that each of my patients receives.
At Baptist Primary Care in Regency, we have a dynamic office geared toward prevention. I work as a team with my nurse and medical assistant to provide my patients with the knowledge they need to treat their individual health conditions.
My wife and I have four children. Outside of the office, I remain active in my Catholic church, and I enjoy biking, kayaking and traveling.
