Claire Byrd's, FNP-C, passion for caring for others began in 2004 when she started her career in healthcare as a PCT (patient care technician). Mrs. Byrd’s love for medicine grew as she advanced through her career as a registered nurse in 2005, specializing in neuroscience in 2013, to a nurse practitioner (graduating with high honors in 2016). Mrs. Byrd holds several awards and certifications and always advocates for excellent patient care. Her areas of expertise are:

About Me

I moved from Ireland to Jacksonville, FL as a young child and have made Jacksonville my forever home with my husband, two beautiful children, and fur baby. When I am not caring for my patients, I enjoy traveling and quality time with friends and family.

My philosophy of care is approaching healthcare holistically- incorporating the patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual well-being into their care. I strive to provide the best care for my patients.

I feel that educating and mentoring medical professionals, especially in these times, is extremely important. I precept, tutor, and mentor future medical professionals and help guide them as needed.
