About Me

My wife and I lived in Columbia, Missouri before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida. We enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and prioritizing a healthy lifestyle routine. Before completing my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kansas, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology as a varsity letterman for the Notre Dame Football athletics program. Psychology and athletics are passions that run deep in my family

My philosophy of care is highly process oriented. I aim to empower my patients with clarity and evidence-based recommendations to help them pursue healthy, purposeful, and fulfilling lives. Establishing a private, safe, and accepting environment is a top priority. I enjoy applying empathic listening skills with patients to optimize clinical effectiveness. Identifying and highlighting client strengths from a multicultural perspective is an important component of my practice.
