About Me

Originally from Chile, I have proudly called Florida home for more than 30 years. My approach to care is rooted in shared decision-making and a holistic understanding of mental wellness, shaped by the many biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors in a person’s life. I partner with patients—and families when appropriate—to create personalized treatment plans that align clinical evidence with individual values, preferences, and day-to-day goals. I value the role of physical activity and movement as supportive elements of mental and emotional well-being, and encourage realistic, sustainable ways to care for both mind and body.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, board games, reading, and staying active through outdoor adventures, as well as running and weight lifting.

I am deeply committed to addressing the social determinants of health and am continually drawn to initiatives that strengthen communities and improve health outcomes. I have been fortunate to volunteer with and support several meaningful organizations, including the Early Learning Coalition of North Florida, the St. Johns County Health and Human Services Advisory Council, Volunteers in Medicine Jacksonville, and the American Red Cross.
