About Me

I am lucky to have lived in warm and beautiful places all my life. I was born and raised in Hawaii then moved to Southern California for college through medical residency. The Navy brought me to Jacksonville in 2017, and here, I have been blessed to meet my husband and become a mom to our little girl. I am an avid traveler, adventurous cook, spinning enthusiast, budding gardener, and both a dog and cat person.

As a child, I initially dreamt of becoming a doctor to follow in my dad’s footsteps. However, what truly nurtured my passion for healthcare and specifically, primary care medicine, was being a caregiver to my grandparents as their health declined from cancer, end-stage kidney disease, and Alzheimer’s. I witnessed first-hand the importance of continuity of care and having a doctor who listens, educates, and collaborates with you so that your care is evidence-based and tailored to you. This is what I strive to do with each of my patients and what I love most about medicine.
