About Me

My wife and I and our four children feel blessed to be back in Jacksonville, which has been my home since my Navy family moved here during my high school years. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, I served six years as a Navy officer, including three years on a Mayport-based guided missile cruiser.

After medical school, I chose to specialize in family medicine because I enjoy interacting with people and appreciate seeing firsthand the difference evidenced-based care can make in a patient’s life. I also believe in the famous idiom “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

Away from the office, I like being outdoors, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.
