Alexandra Straitt, APRN, FNP, CEN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a diverse and comprehensive background in emergency care and complex neurological conditions. Her passion for healthcare began early in her career as an emergency nurse, where she specialized in managing acute neurological emergencies, including strokes and traumatic injuries. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for her transition into complex spine and pain management as a nurse practitioner, where she cared for a variety of chronic pain conditions such as degenerative spine disease, migraines, and neuropathic pain. Alexandra has since transitioned into a neurosurgical role, where she integrates her extensive experience into the care of a wide variety of neurosurgical conditions. Her approach is always centered on improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life through a personalized and holistic approach to patient care. Her areas of expertise include:

I’m a proud Jacksonville native with deep roots in this vibrant city. My journey has taken me across the U.S. as a travel nurse and military spouse, We are happy to be permanently back in our home town. I cherish spending quality time with my husband and son, exploring the city's abundant waterways and parks which are perfect for family adventures.

Patient care has been my calling from a young age, inspired by a legacy of four generations of nurses. This rich tradition has fueled my passion for helping others and reinforced my commitment to making a lasting impact on patient lives. Neurologic care has become my specialty, a field that continually challenges me with its complexity while offering the opportunity to significantly improve patient outcomes.
