About Me
After growing up in Ocala, it was an easy decision to settle in Jacksonville with all it has to offer. I love spending time with my wife and our three children. We enjoy the outdoors, including both fresh and salt water.
I understand that in-depth medical knowledge only comprises a portion of quality patient care. It is important to take care of the patient and not just the disease. I always respect my patient’s circumstances and opinions and build a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. This requires in-depth and frequent communication; something that I value and implement in my patient care. It is that care that I find most rewarding about medicine.
I have been active in national medical organizations, where I have served as a speaker and vice chair of the national residency and fellows section. From being involved in organized medicine I have found that I am able to magnify my voice on behalf of my patient. Whether it is meeting with law makers on Capitol Hill or advocating for new policies or reform.
