About Me
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and having enjoyed time in the great state of Oklahoma, I am happy to call the Jacksonville area my home. Unexpected grief journeys have brought my husband, myself, and our beautiful eight children together. We enjoy spending time together playing in the outdoors, exploring this beautiful region of our country, and relaxing.
My philosophy of care entails utilizing evidence-based treatments so that we have the best shot at helping individuals and families reach their treatment goals. As such, a cognitive-behavioral orientation guides a large part of my treatment approach. When working with children, I believe there is value in considering the family’s needs and strengths, in addition to those of the child’s.
