Joseph W. Parks, MD, incorporates the patient in every step of the decision-making process. As a faculty member of Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, his primary area of focus is providing breast cancer reconstruction surgery. Dr. Parks diagnoses and treats a range of medical and aesthetic conditions and his interests include:

About Me

My wife and I have three children and we love spending time on the beach and the river.

In my practice, I find it essential to educate my patients and ensure that they understand the plans for their reconstruction and participate as a partner in their health care team.

Breast care touches the lives of everyone around the patient, and every patient is unique. No one approach to any given problem will fit every patient. I am currently on the board of the Susan G. Komen Association and feel that participation in breast cancer therapy and awareness in the community at large is essential.
