Steven Lovejoy, MD, has been in practice for over 40 years treating all age patients for general orthopedic issues. About Me

My wife and I have embraced the Amelia Island area after moving here from Nashville several years ago. Not just in the outdoor wonderland but also the opportunities to volunteer and become a part of the community in helping those less fortunate.

I remember those dinner table family discussions growing up that occasionally included poorly understood medical issues of friends, family, and even national figures and trends. Remembering those times, I try to incorporate patient education in every visit, which I find is best accomplished by conversation, not lecture.
