Angelica Witherspoon, LMHC, is licensed mental health counselor who obtained her MS in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Florida in 2023. Angelica has an extended background in working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Angelica has also gained experience in facilitating group therapy dynamics in a variety of clinical settings and is passionate about helping her clients learn to narrate their own story of life while reaching personal goals. I have enjoyed living in the Jacksonville area throughout my entire life. During my free time, I am passionate about all things family, food and culture. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and trying new restaurants in town.

My philosophy of care is to help each client develop into the best version of themselves as they learn to navigate a life worth living. I am determined to assess the “whole picture” of each client’s life, while cultivating a safe space for clients to grow and heal.

Through a person-centered approach blended with CBT and solution-focused therapy techniques I help clients identify their strengths and own their resilience.
