About Me

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. As a true Miami native, I grew up with an appreciation and love for the multicultural and ethnic diversity. I moved to Jacksonville with my wife and three sons in 2000. Although we initially intended to move back to Miami after finishing my residency, we became enamored with the wonderful quality of life afforded here and have made our home in St. Johns County. We really enjoy going to the beach and traveling.

My philosophy of patient care is that you need to treat more than just the disease process, but also treat the individual as a whole. A healthy lifestyle, spiritual growth, diet and exercise are as important as the medicine we prescribe. I believe in encouraging the patient to take an active role in their healthcare, to be educated and empowered to strive for the best quality of life as they can.
