Robin Beck, MD

Robin Beck, MD, is a board-certified geriatric medicine physician with training in internal medicine who treats patients ages 65 and up. She has enjoyed caring for older adults for over two decades in both the home and outpatient setting. Dr. Beck found her passion for geriatric medicine during college when she worked as a home health aide caring for older adults in their homes. She has also served as a leader in geriatric medicine at an academic center for many years and enjoys providing whole-person care to older adults. Her areas of expertise include:

About Me

I have lived in Indiana most of my life, but my husband and I made the recent decision to move to the Amelia Island area to escape the cold weather and live where we have vacationed many times. We fell in love with this area and decided we needed to stay! We have two sons and a daughter, and are empty-nesters, so the time to move was perfect for us. We love the outdoors, spending time kayaking, fishing, hiking, swimming and cycling, and now we can do these things all year round!

My philosophy of care is always to put patients' concerns first, to be a good listener and to take the time that each patient needs every visit. I feel my role is to guide and inform and make decisions together with each patient. The process of aging can be hard to accept, frustrating and overwhelming at times. I want to help each patient navigate this time period in their life to the best of my ability so they age as well as possible.
