Please call the office to book an appointment.** Toshiba Watson, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who treats patients ages 5 and up. She believes that preventive care and patient education are the foundations of lifelong health and is committed to building strong, trusting relationships that empower patients to take an active role in their care and overall well-being. A Jacksonville native, Dr. Watson is grateful to return home after nearly 20 years away to be closer to family. Her journey in medicine and life has taken her from South Florida to the Caribbean, West Africa and rural Arkansas. Along the way, she has learned from people of many cultures and backgrounds, shaping her approach to care and reinforcing her belief that honoring each patient’s unique values and traditions is central to excellent medicine. About Me

My journey in medicine and life has taken me from South Florida to the Caribbean, West Africa and rural Arkansas. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of meeting people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, learning from their stories, and gaining perspectives that have shaped the way I practice medicine. These experiences reinforced for me that every patient brings not only their health concerns, but also their cultural values, traditions, and goals—and honoring that is central to providing excellent care.

Outside of medicine, I’m a dedicated wife and mother of three, and my family means the world to me. In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games, crocheting, and I’m currently teaching myself to play the upright bass.

My philosophy of care is rooted in listening first, building relationships of trust, respecting each patient’s unique story and background and working together to promote health and well-being that lasts a lifetime.
