About Me

I am a native of Jacksonville and I am pleased to serve the community that has given me so much. Above all, I am happy that I can do it by providing much needed primary care.

My philosophy of care is patient-centered. I always have goals for a visit, but how much of what is done is actually dependent upon a patient’s comfort level which is reflected by their cultural background, religious beliefs and personal preference. All of these have to be accounted for in order to have a successful disease outcome, happy families and a strong patient-doctor relationship.

When I am away from the office, I like to go running. I have participated in half and full marathons. I like to travel and experience other cultures. My volunteer trip to Cusco, Peru has left a long lasting impression on me. After providing basic women’s services and preventive screening to over 100 women in a few short hours, I realized how lucky we are in the US to have a relatively easy access to health services, and not be neglected based on gender.
