Safia Ahmed, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who treats patients ages 10 and up. She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her patients and delivering personalized, compassionate care at every stage of life. She cares for adolescents and adults, and, drawing on her extensive experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, Dr. Ahmed brings a comprehensive understanding of acute and chronic medical conditions.

About Me

As a Jacksonville native, I am excited to return home and serve the community where I grew up. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active, traveling and trying new restaurants. My husband and I are looking forward to building our life in Northeast Florida, enjoying the warm weather and life near the beach, along with our two cats.

I believe that great healthcare starts with listening. My goal is to partner with my patients, understand what matters most to them, and develop care plans that fit their individual needs and goals. I enjoy helping patients take a proactive approach to their health through preventive care, chronic disease management and healthy lifestyle changes. Most importantly, I want my patients to feel empowered, informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.
