About Me

I chose this field of medicine because I want to really make a difference by providing care to the whole family on both preventive, as well as diagnostic, levels.

When I worked as a chief resident, I helped train physicians, and discovered my passion for education. I love to help my patients understand how their family history and lifestyle can impact their overall health. I also love to continually learn, and my favorite topics are nature, science, and history.

Outside the office, I enjoy going to the beach and camping with my family. My wife and I are Jacksonville natives and we have three children. I help to coach their athletic teams and work backstage setting and moving props every year for their dance recital. I am also involved with my church.
