Ana May P. Manuel, MD, grew up in a family of physicians and has always strived to emulate the level of care they offered to their patients. In 2007, Dr. Manuel, her pediatrician husband and their sons immigrated to the US. After arriving, she completed her family medicine residency and has called the specialty home ever since. Above all else, Dr. Manuel strives to understand her patients’ needs and approaches every visit with open ears and an open mind. She is currently accepting new patients ages 18 and up. About Me

I just recently moved to Jacksonville. My husband and I came from Destin. We have 2 sons. My eldest works in the film industry, and my younger son is at FSU completing his Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics. My husband and younger son love to cook, and I love to bake, and we spend holidays and vacations sharing recipes. We also enjoy traveling to different countries.

The way I practice medicine is all based on what I saw as a child. My parents were both doctors, and they cared for their patients as if they were family. My brother and sisters followed in their footsteps. I learned how to listen, I learned how to give, I learned how to put myself in the shoes of those who are sick, and I was encouraged to study and learn my field so that I may serve at my utmost.
