Alison Vukich, MD

Alison Vukich, MD, has comprehensive training and experience ranging from rural medicine and inner city trauma, to suburban research-based multispecialty clinic training. She graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University and was a Lewis Gale Scholar as Morehouse School of Medicine. Her areas of expertise include:

About Me

As a mother of four children—three boys and one girl—I understand the rewards and challenges of parenthood. In addition to pediatric medical education, I have practical application and experience to augment my knowledge. Our family enjoys camping, swimming, cooking, fitness and movie night. My ongoing joy and challenge is balancing medicine, motherhood, personal fitness and marriage.

I believe in a comprehensive approach to medicine as oftentimes a patient’s presenting complaint is a symptom of an underlying process. Care should also be individualized as the same plan of care may not be the best plan for every person. Prevention and lifestyle management with emphasis on healthy eating, stress management and fitness are also very important in overall health and well-being. I enjoy treating all ages and guiding the entire family in health care.

Within the community, our family is active in scouting, team sports and church. I volunteer my time in these activities and also for annual sports physicals at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. I am also an active member of the Duval County Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Medicine and Florida Academy Family Medicine.
