About Me

After completing my military service, I followed my wife back to her hometown of Jacksonville which we have happily called home since 2020. Together, we are raising our three children, and much of our free time revolves around their activities and sports. When we’re not cheering them on from the sidelines, our family enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and making the most of the many opportunities that Florida has to offer.

As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I believe that caring for a young person goes far beyond treating symptoms or managing medications. Children are deeply influenced by their families, schools, communities, and other relationships, and understanding that larger picture is essential to providing meaningful care. I enjoy working collaboratively with children and their families to understand the challenges they are facing and identify practical, individualized ways to help them thrive. Most importantly, I try to see the person before the diagnosis— to see my patients not simply as children with mental health conditions, but as children who happen to be going through a difficult time and deserve to be understood, supported, and given the opportunity to grow.
