Sonia Burns, APRN

Sonia Burns, APRN is a board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner who became interested in cardiology in high school and became a certified nursing assistant working with geriatric patient populations and developed a deeper desire to continue her education throughout the years. Her philosophy of care is nursing is a calling and has been called into this ministry of health and healing for over 20 years of which consist of an advanced practice degree. Sonia Burns has expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her areas of expertise include:

I have an amazing husband and two amazing adult sons. One is active duty military and the other is a business owner. I have several hobbies I love, which consist of biking, kayaking, golfing and roller skating. I also love to travel, cook and read.
