Renee Schock, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Renee Schock, APRN, specializes in adult cardiology and acute care. For more than four years, she has provided hospital-based cardiology care, assessing acutely ill patients and coordinating their ongoing treatment. She has experience managing coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, vascular conditions, and structural heart disorders. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Renee spent 12 years as a progressive care and ICU nurse, advocating for patients and families through education and compassionate care. Now living in Callahan, she is active in the Wildlight and Yulee communities, serving in her church’s children’s and senior programs. She enjoys cooking, gardening, nature, and quick getaways to the Georgia mountains. Renee is passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge and resources to improve their health and quality of life.

About Me

I recently moved to Callahan from Middleburg and have enjoyed learning my way around the communities of Wildlight, Yulee and Fernandina. I moved to Callahan with my husband to be closer to our daughter and her family. In my personal time I enjoy getting out in the community and doing various community events as well as serving at my church in the kids and senior ministries. My family and I enjoy the outdoors and love to camp and travel to the Georgia mountains. I enjoy gardening and playing outside with my pets.

I think that overall healthcare is about engaging with the patient understanding what is important to them and work on a plan of care that helps guide their treatment in the best possible and achievable way. Advocating for my patients and families is very important to me and educating them is key in a way they can understand and feel they can achieve goals of care.
