Kim Bibb, APRN, ACNP

Kim Bibb, APRN first became interested in nursing after her grandmother became ill and required full-time care with frequent doctor's office visits. She was a nurse at Mayo Clinic for 14 years. She spent this time in the surgical intensive care unit. After over 14 years in a hospital setting, she decided to further her education at Jacksonville University. She graduated in 2014 and soon after joined the team at Baptist Primary Care, where she has been since.

About Me

I have lived in Fernandina since 2000, moving here from South Georgia. Growing up we had a house here and it was always my dream to live here one day. I am married and have one son. We enjoy traveling and looking for sharks' teeth on the beach.

I have a firm belief that it is imperative to listen to the patient's concerns and not just treat the symptoms. I am also a strong advocate for preventive care and address screenings at almost every appointment, even acute appointments.

I hope to continue my education by completing my doctorate in the future.
