Emelyn Veitia, APRN, DNP, has felt called to healthcare since childhood and began working in the field at a young age. After more than ten years of hands-on nursing experience, she now serves as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner focused on helping adults live healthier, more confident lives. She has a special interest in preventive care and chronic disease management. Patients appreciate her warm demeanor, thoughtful guidance and genuine dedication to their well-being.

About Me

I was born in Cuba, grew up in Miami, and have truly enjoyed calling Green Cove Springs home over the past few years. I love spending time with my fiancé, our two dogs and the people who mean the most to us. Whether through traveling, trying new restaurants, hosting family gatherings or just enjoying a quiet movie night at home, I value connection and making meaningful memories.

Becoming a nurse practitioner felt like a natural step in a journey that started early in my life. What I love most about medicine is building real relationships with my patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their care. I believe in listening first, focusing on prevention and creating plans that truly fit each person’s lifestyle and goals of care.

I’m especially passionate about helping adults manage chronic conditions and age in a healthy, empowered way. Supporting my patients and being part of this community is something I truly value.
