Dana Y. Preston, DNP, has served as an advanced practice nurse for more than 30 years, the past 18 specializing in primary care. She has more than 40 years of overall nursing experience and has served as a visiting professor and a preceptor for nursing students at a number of universities. Her areas of expertise include:

About Me

I have enjoyed living in Jacksonville most of my life, having returned here with my husband and daughter in 1990. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor walks, listening to audiobooks, restorative yoga, swinging kettlebells, watching “The Voice” and throwing confetti!

My philosophy of care is patient-centered and involves a shared decision making approach. I believe in empowering and engaging patients to play a proactive role in the self-management of their health.
