William "Billy" Claytor, APRN, started his nursing career in inpatient care at Baptist Medical Center 16 years ago. He then transitioned to Baptist Home Health and earned his NP degree. He has practiced at Baptist Internal and Family Medicine for the past 8 years and enjoys providing efficient, evidence-based care. His areas of expertise include:

About Me

Growing up in Mandarin, I have always enjoyed the water and the outdoors. My wife, four children, and I love spending time at the beach surfing or on the river tubing and wakeboarding. We also enjoy traveling and I have started backpacking the Appalachian trail with my sons.

I was inspired to practice in primary care after hearing from home care patients' dissatisfaction with rushed office visits and not feeling they were heard. I strive to provide efficient, comprehensive, evidence-based care with an emphasis on promoting health screenings and healthy lifestyle changes.

I serve in the community through a local Boy Scouts of America troop. As an Eagle Scout, I enjoy guiding my three sons along with the other scouts to advance to the rank of Eagle. I also serve at Christian Family Chapel in the music and children's ministry.
